Induction Motor Controller and Protection System

Induction motors are extensively used in artificial and marketable operations due to their robustness and effectiveness. To maximize performance and achieve long life from them, speed control and protection systems are necessary. In this paper, the study is to examine an induction motor regulator as a DOL starter, star-delta starter, VFD, and soft starters, which were compactly studied with a complete review about their appearance, features, and control about speed as well as direction, and also cover some protection results similar as load, short-circuit, phase failure, overvoltage, and undervoltage protections. In order to help damage by electrical and mechanical irregularities, these systems work together to increase operability, trust ability, and safety.
