Closed-Loop Test of HVDC Control and Protection Device Based on ADPSS Self-Developed Interface

The closed-loop test of HVDC control and protection device is an experimental research work carried out by connecting the power system real-time digital simulation device to the HVDC control and protection device. Its main function is to verify the effectiveness of the control and protection strategy, investigate the potential problems and hidden dangers in the control and protection device, and then accurately simulate the operation characteristics of the HVDC transmission project through the digital-analog hybrid simulation in the simulation of the large power grid, so as to ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of the power grid. Interface technology is the key technology to realize the closed-loop test of HVDC control and protection device. This paper introduces the closed-loop test technology of HVDC control and protection device based on ADPSS self-developed interface, and develops the optical protocol conversion interface device and physical interface device. Based on this interface technology, the closed-loop test of Qingyu UHVDC transmission project is carried out, and the effectiveness of ADPSS self-developed interface is verified. The interface device developed in this paper can completely replace the foreign interface device by function, and overcome the "bottleneck" technology of the long-term restriction in the interface of the power system digital-analog hybrid simulation field, which can realize the nationalized customization of the closed-loop test scheme for the HVDC control and protection device.
