Enhancing Network Resilience with Dynamic Traffic Engineering using Load Balancing Technique

Network resilience has become an important issue given the growing complexity and interdependence of present-day communication networks, as well as their exposure to failures and disruptions. Dynamic Traffic Engineering (DTE) has emerged as a potential solution to improve the resilience of networks through efficient resource usage, increasing network performance and avoiding potential failures. Here, we propose a new power mechanism for enhancing the strength of the network using DTE with a load-balancing mechanism. Load balancing is a tree construction used to distribute traffic across multiple paths to prevent network congestion and reduce network failure probability, which is common in server clusters. However, to do this safely, we need to have our DTE with a balancing approach that does not rely on static route configuration. In this approach, we dynamically redirect traffic at run-time according to network conditions (link failure, congestion, and bandwidth utilization) and ensure optimal resource utilization while avoiding a single point of failure.
