Profit Improvement of A Low-Carbon Integrated Energy System with Electric-Hydrogen Hybrid Energy Storage

It is of great significance to build a low-carbon integrated energy system of electric-hydrogen coordination for the clean and low-carbon future power energy system. In this paper, a comprehensive energy system optimization model of electric-hydrogen energy storage coupling and low-carbon cooperation is constructed. First, a mathematical model is constructed for each energy conversion equipment, and the coupling and complementarity between electrothermal hydrogen energy is realized by constructing hydrogen-mixed natural gas CHP unit and GB unit model, and then the load is decouped by electric-hydrogen energy storage. Finally, a carbon trading model is constructed to realize the overall low carbonization of the system. The entire mathematical optimization model was solved by using CPLEX solver. After verifying the proposed hydrogen blending optimization model, the system operating cost was reduced by 13.95% and carbon emissions by 12.63%. After adopting the electrohydrogen energy storage coupling cooperative carbon trading optimization model, the system operating cost was further reduced by 3.76%. Carbon emissions were further reduced by 1.61%.
