A Generator Start-up Method of Distribution System Considering Users’ Preferences and V2G

In the post-disaster fault scenario, the decentralized large-scale Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the city have considerable discharge potential, which can support generators restarting after blackouts in Distributions System (DS), accelerate the procedure of DS restoration. However, it’s hard to coordinate the consistency of such a large number of EV users, research about guidance of EV users is needed. A generator start-up method of DS considering users’ preferences and Vehicle to Grid (V2G) is proposed in this paper. First, the process of EV users' preferences in DS genera-tor restoration is analyzed, and then the key factors affecting EV users' preferences in restoration are proposed, and a guiding decision-making model considering EV users' preferences is established. Then, constraints of generator ramping, system restoration status and EV discharging are considered, a generator start-up model of distribution system considering users’ preferences and V2G is built. Finally, the modified IEEE 33 node test system verifies that the proposed method can effectively solve the restoration strategy, decreasing generator start-up time, enhance resilience of DS.
