Brake Smart: Harnessing IoT and Ultrasonic Technology for Collision-Free Driving

This project aims to develop an advanced Automatic Braking System (ABS), called “BrakeSmart”, which leverages ultrasonic sensor technology to enhance road safety and prevent collisions. The system automatically applies the brakes to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. By continuously monitoring the distance using ultrasonic sensors, BrakeSmart engages the brakes when the distance falls below a predetermined threshold. This automation mitigates the limitations of human reaction time, significantly reducing the risk of collisions and promoting safer driving. Overall, this innovative technology marks a significant advancement in driver assistance systems, focusing on accident prevention and minimizing human error.
