Document Summariser & Questiongenerator Using LLMS

Extracting meaningful insights from PDF documents is a challenging task due to their extensive content. This study presents a novel Document Summarizer & Question Generator that integrates state-of-the-art NLP models-FLAN T5 for summarization and GPT-3.5-turbo for question generation. Our approach achieves competitive performance, as validated through ROUGE metrics. A user-friendly web interface built with Streamlit enables seamless document processing. Comparative evaluation demonstrates that FLAN T5-DialogSum outperforms other summarization models, while GPT-3.5-turbo excels in generating contextually relevant questions. This tool enhances document comprehension across academic, legal, and corporate domains.
