Sidelobe Height and Placement of Quasi-Complementary Sequences

The rules given in this correspondence enable the positions and amplitudes of the nonzero sidelobes of quasi-complementary sequences to be determined without use of a computer and without knowing the autocorrelation functions of the individual codes beforehand. They enable the system designer to synthesize a set of codes directly from system specifications. They also shed light on the code structure itself. Examples are given.
