Analysis of Chinese medicine treatment pattern of gastric precancerous lesions based on data mining

Objective: To analyze the rules of Chinese medicine treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis and gastric precancerous lesions using data mining method to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: All the case data came from the outpatient clinic of Professor Li Diangui of Hebei Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to December 2024, where Professor Li Diangui personally diagnosed and treated the outpatients with chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and atypical hyperplasia, and analyzed data standardization and statistical analysis of the terms such as Chinese medicine disease name, clinical symptoms, tongue manifestation, pulse manifestation, and Chinese medicine syndrome of the medical case, Chinese medicine treatment and other terms for data standardization and statistical analysis.Results: A total of 118 cases were included, of which 54 cases (45.76%) were male and 64 cases (54.23%) were female, with more females than males. The Chinese medicine high-frequency syndrome types were, in descending order, turbid toxin, incoordination between liver and stomach, spleen-stomach weakness, stomach-channel stagnation, and cold-heat mismatch. The disease sites were mainly in the liver, spleen, stomach, and lungs, and the pathologies were mainly turbid toxin, qi stagnation, and qi deficiency. Conclusion: The treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis and gastric precancerous lesions is based on the theory of liver, spleen and stomach, with the accumulation of turbid toxin and incoordination between liver and stomach as the core pathogenesis in the process of development, and turbid toxin, phlegm-heat and qi stagnation as the core elements, so the treatment is based on removing turbidity and resolving toxins, dispersing stagnated liver qi for regulating stomach, and also elevating and de-elevating the qi mechanism.
