Thermal-Vibration Analysis for Superconducting Levitator Under Different Liquid Nitrogen Content and Loads Based on a Novel Wireless Multiparameter Data Monitoring Platform

High-temperature superconducting (HTS) pinning maglev technology has advanced to the engineering application research stage, creating an urgent need to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the superconducting levitator. This article, therefore, proposes a method for measuring the temperature rise of the HTS bulk in a hybrid environment of cryogenic and vacuum and builds a wireless multiparameter data monitoring platform for superconducting levitators. The temperature rise of the HTS bulk inside the superconducting levitator and vibration acceleration are investigated under different operating speeds, working loads, and liquid nitrogen (LN2) contents. The results show that the temperature of the HTS bulk is basically below 1 K at 100% LN2 content. When the LN2 content is reduced to 40% and 20%, the temperature rise even exceeds 2 and 3 K. What is more, the temperature rise is not significantly affected by the load change of the superconducting levitator. Meanwhile, the decrease of LN2 content will increase the amplitude of high-frequency vibration, but the increase of load will suppress the amplitude of high-frequency vibration. The results provide the basis for future research on the online monitoring of the core component in the HTS pinning maglev train.
