Smart IoT-Based End-to-End Biodegradable Waste Management Technology

Effective biodegradable waste management is a significant challenge in urban environments, particularly with high-volume organic waste like tender coconut shells. This research proposes an innovative IoT-based system for efficient and accelerated decomposition of tender coconut shells into organic manure. By integrating microbiology, mechanical engineering, and information technology, the proposed technology aims to enhance waste processing efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and generate valuable organic manure. The automated system uses regression analysis for predicting the appropriate compression level based on moisture levels. This AI/ML-enabled IoT based waste management system monitors and control the shredding, compression, and decomposition processes, providing a sustainable solution to urban waste management.
