Comparative Study of Copper and Cobalt Loaded Multi-Patch Rectangular Antenna for Multi Band Frequencies

This paper provides an in-depth comparative analysis of the performance of multi-patch rectangular loop antennas utilizing different materials, specifically copper and cobalt, for the patches, and RT Duroid and Graphite as substrates, with a motivation on 5 GHz frequency applications. The study inspects antennas constructed with these varied materials, assessing key parameters such as return loss (S11), Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), and radiation efficiency over a range of frequencies. The conclusions offer valuable insights into optimizing the design of high-performance multi-patch rectangular loop antennas for 5 GHz applications, assisting in the selection of materials to improve antenna performance.
