A Landslide Remote Monitoring System Using Solar-Cell-Operated Low-Power Wireless Sensor Networks and Cloud Service

In this study, we propose practical technologies for achieving battery-less operation and maintenance-free solutions, such as eliminating the need for battery replacement, in a landslide remote monitoring system using wireless sensor networks. Additionally, we propose a low-cost system capable of remotely monitoring landslides by leveraging a commercial cloud service. This paper details the development and evaluation of the prototype we propose.
