Reengineering of Markopi Mobile Application

Markopi is a mobile application developed to help address the information gap between coffee farmers and facilitators in the Toba Regency. However, this application has limitations, including limited application use on the Android platform up to version 9, providing only one-way communication, limited information management on mobile devices, and lack of development documentation. To resolve these limitations, software reengineering was conducted to improve the quality of the application. The reengineering process includes inventory analysis, document restructuring, and forward engineering. In the inventory analysis stage, existing components were identified and needed to be improved. The document restructuring stage is done to complete the development documentation. The documentation created at this stage is the Software Technical Document. The Markopi application was rebuilt using the iterative process model in three iterations. The testing method used in this research is black box testing to ensure all functions are running. To ensure that the application meets user needs, a User Acceptance Test (UAT) is conducted as the last stage of this research. The result of the test is that all functions have been accepted.
