Research on Blockchain-Based Insurance Smart Contract Technology

With the rapid advancement of blockchain technology, the insurance industry is undergoing significant transformation, and smart contracts offer new possibilities for the automation, transparency, and efficiency of insurance operations. This paper explores blockchain-based insurance smart contract technology by first providing an overview of blockchain and its applications in the insurance sector. It further analyzes the definition, lifecycle, fundamental architecture, and key technological platforms of smart contracts. Subsequently, the paper discusses the applications of smart contracts in process automation, as well as in assessment and pricing. Additionally, a crowdfunding contract system is developed to explore and implement relevant theories of smart contracts.
