A Low-Power Clustering Routing Protocol Optimization Scheme for Substation WAPI

This study centers on the substation application scenario and offers an optimized solution for the low-power LEACH protocol used in substation WAPI. The algorithm put forward herein comprehensively considers the current remaining energy of nodes as well as the node distribution location. By bringing in the remaining energy factor and the distance factor, it optimizes the formula for the cluster-head election threshold. This optimization makes the cluster-head election more scientific and the energy consumption distribution more uniform. Furthermore, the simulation results show that compared with the traditional LEACH algorithm, the EHN-LEACH algorithm proposed in this paper can further reduce the network energy consumption and prolong the network usage time.
