Expert System Design for Precision Turnaround Time in Marine Applications

Maritime transport contributes to international trade and economic development by providing an efficient, clean, and safe mode of transportation. However, there are a number of challenges that highly influence operational efficiency, such as risk management, safety concerns, and information inefficiencies. This study investigates some critical dimensions of maritime operations: expert systems for mitigating risks, digital transformation in information management, and the relevance of maritime network analysis. This research investigates the complexities of ports activities and container shipping, in order to give new insights into improving the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of maritime transport systems.
