Climate Control for Hydroponic Greenhouse: a Detailed Evaluation of Heating and Cooling Solutions

This study investigates the critical role of climate control in hydroponic agriculture, focusing on its impact on plant growth and resource efficiency. A prototype greenhouse is developed, integrating advanced thermal regulation systems, including vacuum tube solar collectors, an ammonia-water absorption heat pump, and a multi-stage heat exchanger. Practical experimentation evaluates the system's effectiveness in maintaining optimal conditions. The findings offer insights into sustainable and resilient agricultural practices, supporting growers, researchers, and policymakers in addressing climate challenges in hydroponics.
