Abstract:
An enhanced accuracy finite-control-set model-predictive control (FCS-MPC) is presented in this letter. The main advantage of conventional FCS-MPC is its ease in achieving multi-objective optimization through a unified cost function. However, this approach has obvious disadvantages: switching can only occur at fixed positions, and the possible switching positions are solely determined by the initial switching position. This scheme reduces the control accuracy. This letter proposes an FCS-MPC method that can flexibly change the switching position of the switching state. Not only does it improve the switching accuracy of the inverter, but it also retains the feature of switching no more than once per control cycle, thus possessing all the advantages of FCS-MPC. The feasibility and superiority of the proposed method are verified through experiments.
