Sustainability of the Hot Springs Tourism In Nepal

Travelers go to hot springs because of the positive effects they have on their health, spirituality, and leisure. Hot springs that are geothermal are formed naturally. In spite of the fact that Nepal is home to a number of hot springs and geographical circumstances that are suitable, the country's potential is being hampered by a lack of research and accessibility. One of the various components of tourism was investigated in Nepal via the use of a mixed-methods research that looked at the viability of hot springs as a tourist attraction. Sixty participants from six distinct hot spring locations were interviewed in a semi-structured format for the purpose of conducting content analysis for this research. Data analysis was the objective of the activity. It is important to highlight the advantages of wellness and health services, since the results of the survey indicate that the majority of visitors are there for therapeutic and medical objectives. As a result of the increased number of visitors and the desire to promote environmentally responsible travel, the respondents believe that there is an immediate need for more infrastructure. To ensure the continued success of Nepal's hot spring tourism business, it is essential that the study emphasizes the need of sustainable management. A preference for ecotourism and health tourism is also detected by the survey.
