An Artificial Intelligence Based PWM Inverter Topology for Performance Controls BLDC Motor

Permanent magnet brushless DC (PMBLDC) motors are widely used in electric vehicle (EV) applications. This paper designs an unified switching method to control the speed of PMBLDC motor. In this paper, an inverter based switching topology is developed with out considering the use of DC-DC converter. The inverter switching selections is mapped with motor position. Hence, the anticipated switching method is depended on identifying the sector position and selecting the suitable control logic for switching inverter. The tracking performance is achieved by designing a PID control by using artificial intelligence. Simulations are carried out to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
