Miniaturized Tunable Bandpass Filter for Sub-1 GHz Band Applications

In this paper, a compact tunable band-pass filter (BPF) is presented. The filter is designed for the sub- $\mathbf{~ G H z}$ band applications where the measured tunable frequency range (TFR) extends from 0.4 GHz to 0.93 GHz. Its equivalent circuit (EC) model is developed for physical insight. The proposed filter uses a simple biasing arrangement with single voltage control for diodes. Thus, the basing complexity is reduced and it is a miniaturized BPF.
