The Investigation of Space Charge Characteristics for Liquid Rubber Doped Epoxy Resin Under Different Temperature Gradient

Doped liquid rubber into the epoxy resin matrix material to prepare epoxy resin composite materials with various properties has attracted more and more attention in the industry, and it has become more widely used in electric electronics insulation materials. However, the influence of liquid rubber doping on the space charge behavior of epoxy resin has not been reported until now. In this research, liquid rubber epoxy resin with different mass fraction was prepared, resistivity and space charge characteristics of the liquid rubber epoxy resin were measured, and an analysis of space charge behavior was conducted across various temperature gradients. The findings indicate that the incorporation of liquid rubber exerts a certain influence on the resistivity of the epoxy resin, while simultaneously exhibiting the capacity to inhibit the accumulation of space charge within the epoxy resin. The results are helpful to understand the influence of liquid rubber addition on the electrical properties of epoxy resin, it has a guiding significance for the application of power electronic device insulation.
