Research on Fault-Tolerant Control Strategy of Dual-Winding Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

In this paper, the fault-tolerant control of dual-winding permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system is studied. Aiming at the single-phase open circuit fault, a fault-tolerant strategy based on the compensation of fault ripple torque is proposed, and the control parameters are optimized based on the principles of minimum copper loss and minimum current respectively. Compared with the traditional fault-tolerant method of directly isolating the fault three-phase winding, the two optimization results can make full use of the remaining healthy phases and disperse the loss caused by the current. The given current based on the principle of minimum copper loss can make the total copper loss of the stator winding reach the minimum. The given current based on the principle of minimum current limits the maximum current value in each phase winding, so as to avoid the fault deterioration caused by excessive local winding loss when the load is heavy.
