Speed Sensor-less Control of Induction Machines in Low-speed Region Based on the Gain-Scheduled Adaptive Flux Observer and Frequency Control

This paper presents a novel method to improve the low-speed driving performance of the speed sensor-less control of induction machines. The proposed method has a gain-scheduled adaptive flux observer to improve the stability and transient response, and a new frequency control method to enhance the parameter robustness near zero frequency. The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by simulation and experiment.
