Optimized Full-Speed Range Current Trajectory Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor System

This paper proposes a novel current trajectory optimization control method to enhance the dynamic response speed and steady-state efficiency of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) across the full-speed range. Different current operating trajectories are designed for the motor's dynamic and steady-state processes. During dynamic processes, the current trajectory is constrained to the maximum torque output points corresponding to the speed conditions. In steady-state processes, the trajectory is constrained to the minimum copper loss curve. The method combines the advantages of PI controllers with a model-based trajectory switching strategy. Simulation validation demonstrates the feasibility and superiority of the proposed current trajectory scheme.
