The Parameter Sensitivity Analysis of Linear Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor

This paper analyzes the parameter sensitivity of linear permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor (LPMaSynRM). The effect on the thrust performance of the secondary flux barrier geometry is calculated and compared. The parameters that have great effect on the thrust performance are selected for the optimization through response surface methods. The other parameters with low sensitivity are defined and a optimized value is given. A prototype of LPMaSynRM is manufactured and tested.
