Energy Management Strategy of Fuel Cell Management System for Flooding Condition with Distributed Supercapacitors storage element

In this study, a series converter that consists of a fuel cell and a supercapacitor is used to regulate a hybrid system. In a stable state, the topology given offers great efficiency and appropriate SC utilization, and a control strategy involving an estimator is suggested to guarantee that the FC constraints satisfy the necessary conditions. When the voltage of the series converter is null in a steady state-that is, when the supercapacitor voltage is equal to its reference-the control generates the supercapacitor reference voltage, which increases system efficiency. Additionally, the topic of global system energy management is covered. To validate the suggested system, modeling and experimental results under a certain load profile are presented.
