Research on the Influence Mechanism and Stability Control Method of Composite Disturbance on Double-End Power Supply of High Speed Maglev Traction System

High-speed maglev traction system provides a power source for the train and traction system is crucial for the safe and stable operation of maglev trains. The long stator linear synchronous motor of the high-speed maglev train is laid along the track and runs at low speed. The required voltage and current for the train are small, and a single feeding power supply method is adopted. As the speed increases, the larger back electromotive force is generated, which increases the magnetic resistance and air resistance that need to be overcome. At this time, the traction system adopts a double-end power supply to increase output power. However, as the speed increases, the external aerodynamic effects on the train increase sharply, and the impact of track irregularities on the traction system increases. The parameters of the segmented long stator linear motor and feeding cable change dramatically, seriously affecting the performance of the double-end power supply control. There is limited research on the stable control of double-end power supply under composite disturbance in existing literature. The impact mechanism of external excitation on the parameters of the motor and feeding cable during high-speed train operation are analyzed, and a double-end power supply stability control method with feedforward compensator and predictive controller is provided. The effectiveness of the proposed control method was verified through the construction of a high-speed maglev double-end power supply experimental platform.
