Simulation of a Non-Linear Low Pass Filter, Compromising of an RF Signal Generator Used as a Transmitter

This study describes a low-pass RF signal transmitter that rejects sideband frequencies to produce carrier frequency. The RF compromises of a RF Amplify module (RFA), a Mixer Module (MM), a Local Oscillator (LO), RF Filter and an Antenna. The mixer performance is adopted to mix an IF signal with a local oscillator in creating a sum and difference. Moreover, this is a nonlinear mixer. The transmitter elliptic filter provides a minimum of 30 dB of attenuation at the local oscillator frequency from the mixer and a minimum of 30 dB of attenuation on the unwanted sideband frequency from the mixer. The paper focuses on the design and simulation of a transmitter. The purpose of this design is to convert an IF signal to a radio frequency signal by frequency mixing, which travels long distances upon transmission.
