Impact of Cleaning and Discontinuous Cooling on Photovoltaic Panels

Solar energy has been booming due to geographical diversity. Solar irradiation is usually optimal for the use of solar panels in most parts of the world, taking advantage of this valuable natural resource. However, photovoltaic systems, despite having an innovative technological system for converting solar energy into ‘affordable’ electricity, are not exempt from being affected by the environment of the place where they are installed. This paper presents a method consisting of the study, analysis and proposal of the measurement of the electrical power and temperature with the implementation of a discontinuous cooling system for cleaning the installed solar panels and compare the improvement of the conversion of solar energy to electrical energy. It is analysed based on the climatological conditions of the Tabasco region located in Mexico country.
