Detection Method Of Surface Fixation Mirror Face Shape Based On Ellipse Fitting

In the tower solar power generation system the heliostat is one of the most important devices. The accuracy of the surface shape of this work is directly proportional to the efficiency of the whole system. Thus, it is important to monitor and recognize the shape of the heliostat surface so as to make the power generation system run stably and with high efficiency. In image analysis, ellipse fitting and center of mass extraction are performed on the surface shape of a heliostat in this paper. The heliostat is then reconstructed in three dimensions by coordinate transformation and surface fitting techniques. The proposed method helps reduce the error rates in detecting the shape of the heliostat surface increases the efficiency of the power generation system as a whole and is applicable to other types of renewable energy.
