Adaptive Queue Management Algorithm Based on Priority Differentiation

In order to ensure that high-priority services are handled in a timely manner during network transmission, this thesis proposes an adaptive queue management algorithm based on priority differentiation (APD-GRED), different packet drop probabilities are designed according to the service priority of data packets, so that the packet loss rate of data packets with high service priority is relatively low, ensuring that high-priority services are handled in time, and improving user experience and satisfaction. The simulation results prove that APD-GRED algorithm can adapt to the dynamic change of network load, and it is better than the comparison algorithm in the performance indexes such as packet loss rate and throughput, and the channel transmission is more stable.
