Femtosecond Laser Induced Graphene Based on Double-Line Method for Electromyography Electrode

This paper reports a double-line method for producing high-quality graphene using a femtosecond laser. It addresses the detachment issue of inducing graphene on polyimide (PI) by ultra-short pulse laser. The correlation between the energy of laser and degree of graphene formation has been established based on experimental results and theoretical derivation. Using the double-line method, a low-cost electromyography (EMG) electrode was obtained. It shows great performance in high-quality EMG signal detection. We also demonstrate its potential in the field of gesture recognition.
