Overview of Identification Methods for Line Impedance Parameters in New Power Systems

With the large-scale integration of new energy and the rapid development of smart grids, the new power system has put forward higher requirements for the flexibility, reliability, and intelligence level of the distribution network. Among them, the accurate identification of the impedance parameters of the distribution network lines has become the key to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the power grid. This paper provides an overview of the latest research progress and key technologies in identifying impedance parameters of distribution network lines under the background of new power systems. This article first reviews the limitations of traditional impedance parameter identification methods, and then elaborates in detail on the innovation and development of impedance parameter identification methods in new power systems. This paper also discusses the effectiveness and challenges of these identification methods in practical applications, and looks forward to future research directions, emphasizing the importance of developing more intelligent, adaptive, and standardized impedance parameter identification strategies under the characteristics of new power systems, in order to provide strong support for the safe, stable, and efficient operation of new power systems.
