Research on centralized protection scheme of new energy microgrid based on graph theory matrix algorithm

Fault segment identification is of great significance for microgrid fault processing and power supply recovery. However, with the large-scale access of renewable energy such as photovoltaic and wind power, the uncertainty of power flow direction of microgrid makes the traditional fault section identification method ineffective. Therefore, a centralized protection scheme based on graph theory matrix algorithm is proposed in this paper. For AC power grid line faults, the fault direction is identified by the direction criterion, and the fault section is identified by graph theory matrix algorithm based on the fault direction identification results. Finally, the typical topology of AC microgrid is analyzed and verified, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed centralized protection scheme are verified. The results show that the proposed centralized protection scheme can realize rapid and accurate fault identification of new energy microgrid.
