Satellite Dynamics Modeling and Characteristic Analysis Based on Modelica

As a complex system with high risk, high investment, high precision and high benefit, satellite works in the harsh space environment for a long time, which puts forward higher requirements for the reliability of satellite power system. With the development of modelling and computer technology, mathematical modelling and computer simulation have an increasingly significant impact on product design and have become important methods in developing satellite control systems. This paper aims to use the multi-domain modelling language Modelica to simulate a satellite containing a large-mass rotating payload bay and to study the dynamic coupling between the satellite payload bay and the platform bay, which lays a foundation for the design of the subsequent attitude control system.
