Coherent Signals Direction Finding Algorithm Based on Uniform Linear Weighted Matrix Reconstruction

The classic ESPRIT-like algorithm based on matrix reconstruction uses partial information from the received signals, which results in the incomplete use of information. Although some improved methods such as the FB-PTMR algorithm utilize complete data information, the computational complexity of the algorithm is high. A modified uniform linear weighted matrix reconstruction algorithm for coherent signals direction-of-arrival estimation has been proposed. By introducing a uniform linear weighted vector on each array element, it can be aligned to face the direction directly in front of the beam. The correlation operation is performed between the weighted array received data and the Toeplitz matrix formed by the received data. After forward/backward averaging, the calculated data matrix can be utilized for decoherence combined subspace eigenvalue decomposition algorithm. This algorithm can improve the estimation performance of targets within the beam area while significantly reducing the efficiency of computation.
