Computer Parametric Design and Automatic Modelling of Building Structures

Computers are widely used in the field of construction, and the use of computers in the structural design of buildings can improve the efficiency and accuracy of design. This paper presents a parametric design of building structures based on Dynamo for Revit and Y-GAMA 4.0 with examples for validation; adopts the functional programming method of Python language and the method of data processing and structural analysis, and develops a Python-based structural automatic modelling program and carries out examples for validation. The program is used for the interface of YJK building structure design software version v6.0.0, which is more operable than the parametric design method. Both computer parametric design and automatic modelling have greater application prospects.
