Vulnerability Analysis of Passwords Based on Real Data

A password represents the initial line of security for the majority of information systems, and plays a pivotal role in the protection of personal information and the security of digital assets. Based on a substantial corpus of password data, this paper employs a data-driven research methodology to analyse the length distribution, structure, and personal information embedded in user passwords, with the objective of elucidating users' susceptible password behaviours. Subsequently, it proffers a series of recommendations to enhance the robustness of passwords.
