Artificial Intelligence-Guided Telescope Control System using Jetson-Nano

It has been in human nature to explore the vastness of the cosmos ever since time immemorial. The quest began with ancient men staring at the celestial bodies and now advanced telescopes are able to reach the edges of the universe. Notably, recent introduction of AI technology and its combination with conventional telescope techniques significantly transformed the world of astrophysics and astronomy, making them more progressive and efficient. This article describes new approach for the telescope control, which include a voice interface, automated tracking of stars, advanced technologies for astronomical image processing and attaching familiar names to datasets of celestial objects. The purpose of the system is to enable scientists, astronomers, and other users interested in the study of space to operate it easily and provide accurate results. In combination with data from Stellarium and well-known star maps, this AI-based system of telescope control improves the experience of the users making the universe more navigable.
