Enhanced Boost Active Impedance Source Inverters Combine with One Switched Inductor Cell

This research proposes a novel topology for an Enhanced-Boost Active Z-Source Inverter that incorporates a switched inductor cell. The article introduces a suitable PWM control method and provides a comprehensive analysis of the proposed topology across various operating modes, along with the design of both active and passive components. Additionally, the paper includes a comparison between the proposed topology and several conventional active Z-source inverters. This comparison highlights the better boost-factor achieved with a reduced number of components and a continuous input current. Finally, simulation results are presented to validate the theoretical analysis.
