A Novel High Step-Up DC-DC Converter by Taking the Advantages of Impedance Network

This study exhibits a novel DC-DC converter capable of achieving a significant voltage boost through a quadratic structure, voltage-lift cell, and an innovative idea. The benefits of this topology consist of adequate voltage gain, minimal input current fluctuation, lessened current and voltage stress level on active components, a common reference ground between the input and the load, non-inverted output voltage, and using a simple gate driver for both switches. The converter’s operational principles under steady-state conditions are analyzed. The performance is evaluated through simulation and experimental investigation. The simulation and experimental prototype have produced significant results that verify the accuracy and practicality of the theoretical analysis of the proposed converter.
