Enhancing Accounting Education: Exploring the Impact of H5P Interactive Video Content in a Blended Flipped Classroom

Engaging students in accounting education through interactive learning tasks is crucial for fostering active learning and engagement. This study delves into the impact of integrating H5P interactive video content within a blended flipped classroom, where the traditional face-to-face lecture is supplemented with pre-recorded video content that takes place outside the classroom. By exploring students' satisfaction, perceived learning, and motivation, this study aims to uncover the untapped potential of this innovative approach in accounting education. Using a survey questionnaire, this study investigates students' preferences for pre-class video content and highlights four key features of interactive video content: immediate feedback and enhanced understanding, user-friendly and better user interface, interactive and engaging, and motivation. These findings not only shed light on the effectiveness of using H5P interactive video content but also pave the way for enriching students' experiences and optimizing learning outcomes in accounting education.
