Research on Key Technology of New Low Voltage Molded Case Circuit Breaker

With the rapid development of the digitalization of low-voltage distribution networks, higher requirements are put forward for the performance of molded case circuit breakers. At present, although molded case circuit breakers combine spring structures with digitalization, they have no essential innovation and are difficult to meet the requirements of observability, measurability, and controllability. Therefore, this paper designs a magnetic control drive mechanism with low power consumption, high speed, and high holding, and puts forward a primary and secondary split design scheme for low-voltage magnetic control circuit breakers. On this basis, a topology recognition technology for station areas based on power acquisition sequences is proposed. The test results show that the opening time of the low-voltage magnetically controlled circuit breaker is 5 ms and the closing time is 15 ms; it supports uninterrupted operation and maintenance, and the primary and secondary life is the same; the electrical topology identification of each node in the station area where multiple power supplies coexist is realized, which provides a certain reference for the technical development of low-voltage molded case circuit breakers.
