Semantic Query of Oil Formation Data Based on Knowledge Graph and Concept Similarity Calculation

During the process of oil and gas exploration, development, and production, a considerable amount of heterogeneous data and knowledge reservoirs have been amassed. The integration and unification of the scattered knowledge related to oil exploration, geological formation, and geology through knowledge atlas technology can offer a potent semantic foundation for the unified description of geological data and address the issue of semantic heterogeneity in the automatic data matching of geoscience models. Based on the knowledge graph, the calculation of concept similarity is employed to enhance knowledge relevance, make tacit knowledge explicit, enhance knowledge utilization and acquisition efficiency, realize knowledge sharing, search, recommendation, and intelligent application, and provide fundamental technology and data support for big data analysis, knowledge discovery, and knowledge service in oil exploration and development.
