A Development of an Embedded System Software for IMU Sensor Data Logging During Clinical Assessment by Using 6-Minute Walk Test

In the traditional 6-minute walk test (6MWT), doctors or physical therapists manually record data while simultaneously monitoring the patient. This research aims to develop software to control an embedded system for recording movement data during the 6MWT using IMU sensors. The system will incorporate FreeRTOS (Free Real-Time Operating System) to efficiently manage multitasking operations. The device is designed to record walking data for 6 minutes and store it on an SD card in. csv format at a sampling rate of 100 Hz. Experimental results show that the developed device can consistently record walking data at 100 Hz without data loss during the 6MWT.
