Keystroke Dynamics as Challenge-Response Pair for Attribute-Based Authentication Using FaR Hash Token

The paper proposes an authentication algorithm that leverages identity-based tokens created by the FaR hash principle. This encoded identity will be used for key creation within a challenge-response framework. It demonstrates the approach using keystroke dynamics and other potential identity-defining attributes such as MAC address and geolocation. The proposed system has been tested on a diverse sample set, focusing on both the device's attributes and the user's typing properties. The paper also examines potential security threats and provides a theoretical framework for mitigating these risks. The study concludes that the integration of behavioural biometrics with traditional authentication methods, facilitated by the FaR hash algorithm, could pave the way for more secure and user-friendly authentication systems in the future. It is an additional authentication factor which is theoretically uncopiable as - by a perfectly derived identity - nobody can imitate it or can withstand a reauthentication based on such a token.
