Brain Tumor Detection Using Image Segmentation

A brain tumor at an early stage is a very difficult task for doctors to identify. MRI images are more prone to noise and other environmental interference. So it becomes difficult for doctors to identify tumors and their causes. So here we come up with a system, where the system will detect brain tumors from images. We apply a filter to the image to remove noise and other environmental interference from the image. The user has to select the image. The system will process the image by applying image processing steps. We applied a unique algorithm to detect tumors from brain images. But edges of the image are not sharp in the early stage of the brain tumor. So we apply image segmentation on images to detect edges of the images. In this method we applied image segmentation to detect tumors, Here we proposed an image segmentation process and many image filtering techniques for accuracy.
