An Information Conflict Detection Method Based on Migration Workflow

Detecting points of information conflict within the cockpit is a crucial step toward optimizing cognitive load management and improving flight safety. In response, this paper proposes an information conflict detection framework based on migration workflow. First, this paper develops a migration workflow tailored to the aircraft cockpit environment, which defines key components including cockpit transfer instances, work positions, and the cockpit migration workflow engine. Building upon this model, we introduce an information conflict detection methodology that leverages the migration workflow structure. Subsequently, we apply the model to analyze 10 operational scenarios spanning the descent, approach, and landing phases, quantifying the likelihood of information conflict occurrences. Furthermore, we examine the relationship between the probability of conflict and variations in pupil diameter during actual pilot operations. Our findings validate the effectiveness of the migration workflow approach, providing a promising solution for information conflict detection in the cockpit environment.
